Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 July 2026. By using AutoAide you agree to these terms. This is a plain-language summary — it does not replace legal advice.

1. Not a substitute for emergency services

AutoAide is an information layer. It does not replace calling your local emergency number and does not provide medical, legal or safety advice. Always contact professional emergency services first.

2. Your account

You must be at least the age of digital consent in your country to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your credentials safe. If you notice unauthorized access, change your password and contact us.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store it and to display the sections you marked public on your emergency profile page. You must have the right to share any information you enter for family members or dependents.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AutoAide to:

  • Impersonate another person or create profiles for people without their consent.
  • Publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive or infringes on others' rights.
  • Interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Use the service to send spam or perform automated scraping of public profiles.

5. Stickers and hardware

AutoAide stickers are physical accessories that link to your profile. You are responsible for placing them where they cannot create a safety hazard. Weather, wear and adhesive quality vary; replace stickers when they become unreadable.

6. Availability & changes

We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that put the safety of others at risk.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoAide is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from decisions made by responders based on the information you shared.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
