The problem as it actually shows up
A team's emergency details almost always exist somewhere — an HR file, a spreadsheet, a manager's phone. They are simply unreachable at the moment they would matter: at night, on a Sunday, at the roadside, by someone who does not work for the company.
Identification placed on the vehicle or the equipment moves that information to where the incident happens. The bystander needs no account and no app: they scan, and read what the profile owner chose to publish.
Who this is for
- Companies running cars or light commercial vehicles.
- Delivery businesses and scooter or motorcycle fleets.
- Professional drivers and owner-operators.
- Field teams, service technicians and mobile staff.
- Clubs and organised groups that want one consistent form of identification.
- Any organisation that wants emergency information attached to its vehicles and equipment.
What it changes in practice
- The same emergency identification across the fleet, in the same place on every vehicle.
- A simple rollout: stickers are activated one by one, with no special equipment.
- Central organisation of vehicles and drivers on the Business plan.
- Straightforward replacement when a sticker is damaged, without changing the linked profile.
- Details that stay current, editable without reprinting anything.
What AutoAide does not do, and does not claim to do: contact emergency services automatically, stand in for your internal procedures, or replace any legal obligation attached to your activity.
How it works for a fleet
- 1. Pick the vehicles and equipment to cover, and agree on one standard placement.
- 2. Prepare the emergency profiles, with the details each person is willing to publish.
- 3. Apply and activate the stickers, vehicle by vehicle.
- 4. Test every sticker after fitting, using a phone other than the fitter's.
- 5. Keep the information current as people join, leave or change vehicle.
The Business dashboard groups the organisation's vehicles and drivers together with fleet statistics. Premium capabilities — scan analytics, Wallet passes, reminders — are the ones described on the plans page; nothing beyond that is implied here.
Fleet deployment checklist
- A documented standard placement, identical for every vehicle of the same type.
- One named person responsible for activation and follow-up.
- An inventory of which sticker went on which vehicle.
- A verified scan test for each sticker fitted.
- A clear, agreed rule about what information gets published.
- A replacement procedure for damaged stickers and for vehicles leaving the fleet.
- A periodic profile review, at least twice a year.
Privacy and the employer's role
Personal information belongs to the person. A profile should carry only what its owner is willing to make public — which is also what makes the whole thing acceptable to a team.
In practice many organisations stop at one emergency contact plus the details that genuinely change a first response, and leave the rest to each individual.
Frequently asked questions
- How many vehicles can we cover?
- There is no inherent limit on stickers: each one is activated individually and linked to a profile. Profile and feature limits depend on the plan you choose.
- What happens when a driver leaves?
- The vehicle's sticker can be linked to another profile, or deactivated and replaced. The personal profile stays with the person.
- Does AutoAide alert emergency services or the company automatically?
- No. A scan opens an information page. Calling for help is a human action and should come first.
- Can we see when a sticker was scanned?
- Scan analytics are part of the Premium capabilities, and the Business dashboard adds a fleet view. The plans page has the detail.
- How do we replace a damaged sticker?
- Activate a new sticker on the same profile, then deactivate the old one. Nothing about the profile needs to be recreated.
- Is there a special fleet contract?
- No. The Business plan is activated like any other. We do not offer bespoke service commitments or dedicated technical access.
